Ernies Black Meadow Stories

The winter of 2002 Dorothy Funk organized our local artists to paint a mural. There is a plaque on the wall by the door with the names of the artists: Dorothy Funk (art director), Patty Doyle, Barbara Hughes, Carmine McCormick, Ernie Psikla, Reta Psikla, Carol Tanner, Jerri Wallis, Pam Wheat, and Sue White. The carpenters listed on the plaque are Dennis Sims and Duane Boyd. George Field paid for the plexiglass to protect the mural.

Dorothy was self-taught and enjoyed drawing cartoon characters.
