Ernies Black Meadow Stories

Dale Olson first came to Black Meadow Landing as a young man in 1957-59. He was gone for a few years, serving in the military, before he returned in the 1980s. Since 1993 he has come every year except during the Covid years. He shared these photos taken by his parents, Howard and Betty Olson. Some were taken in 1958. Note the lack of palm trees or other amenities.
